RVMS XC got our first meet under our belts today!! Of our 5 runners, we brought home 3 metals!! It was an awesome day - can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings.

Panther Spirit Night scheduled for Thursday August 24th has been moved back one hour due to the heat. MS volleyball will start at 6:30. MS football will start at 7:00. MS team introduction will begin at 7:30.

RVMS Practices Week of August 21st-25th
Safety is our first priority!
We will follow all KSHSAA guidelines regarding the heat. We have a wet bulb globe thermometer (WBGT) provided by KSHSAA that measures air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, sun angle, and cloud cover. Attached is the KSHSAA Guidelines regarding WBGT levels and accommodations. We will measure the WBGT levels at 2:45-3:15 each day.
Practice times will not change. Activity busses will run as normally schedule.
We anticipate to be indoors most of the week:
XC: If indoors will practice inside NHS
Football: If indoors will practice inside at RVMS
Volleyball: No change
Coaches will use Remind to keep you informed.
No additional changes to Panther Spirit Night at this moment. That may be subject to change depending on weather.

Just a reminder RVMS Football will have equipment check out tomorrow anytime between 1:00-4:00. If they can't make it tomorrow they will check out Monday during practice.
