Thank you to all of the Fun Day Volunteers and families who joined us today. We are so thankful for all of you. Have a great summer.

Parents,
Thursday, May 18th, the last day of school, will be our annual Fun Day. This day is a way for our school to celebrate our learning success for the year! ------The water activities have always been such a hit and we will do them again! Students WILL get wet! We are asking that all children bring an extra set of clothing in a plastic bag that can hold the wet clothes for the trip home. It is recommended that an extra set of clothing be available as students will be indoors during the day, and no wet clothing will be allowed on the buses.

FUN DAY VOLUNTEERS! If you volunteered to help out tomorrow with our fun day stations please be at the school by 8:10. Please check in with the office and pick up your packet. Thank you so much ----------------------------If you are eating lunch/watching fun day you will need to check into the office as well. Remember you have to be signed up and have paid for your lunch to be able to eat. Thank you so much

Good News! The beef sticks are in. They will go home tomorrow.

BEEF STICK ORDERS---Yoder meats did not have enough of 2 popular flavors so we are waiting on them to fill the orders. We are hoping to have them on Wednesday evening so we can send them home on Thursday. If it doesn't happen then we'll have to have an evening for them to be picked up. We will keep you posted.

SHE Families-----With the severe weather alert for our area this afternoon/evening we are going to cancel our SEL Family Night. We will reschedule it in the fall. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please stay safe and enjoy time with your family.

SHE Families----
Dodgeball for a Cause is this Monday May 11. We will take pictures and videos to share with you on Facebook. WE ARE SORRY THAT WE CAN"T HAVE FAMILIES AT THE EVENT. We are filled to capacity with our students and staff. Please look for the events pictures/videos on Facebook. Thank you so much!

There will be a concession stand at the track meet on Friday. All items are $3 or less.

Don't forget 5th grade Science Night tonight from 6-7 pm in the SHE gym.

Notes from the nurse/health office
As we near the end of the school year, we would like to remind you of a few things:
1) If your child has medication (over the counter and/or prescription), please make plans to PICK THOSE UP from our health office before the end of the school year. Meds WILL NOT be sent home with students for safety reasons and will be properly disposed of on June 1st.
2) If your child was given a referral for a vision, hearing, or dental issue - please make sure you follow up with the appropriate healthcare provider and touch base with the District Nurse - D'ana Heinlein, regarding their findings. If you need assistance, please let me know - I have awesome resources to help with this.
3) Remember to review and update immunizations that your child may need for attendance for the 2023-2024 school year.
4) As we finish our last few days of school, we find our "closet" very bare. If your child had to borrow a pair of pants/shorts this year, please launder and return them as soon as possible. If you have pants/shorts that your child has outgrown and you would be willing to donate them for us to use, we would greatly appreciate them (especially smaller sized clothing).
5) Check the lost and found - they are overflowing with lots of goodies!
Thank you and have a great end of the school year and a safe and happy summer!
