Parents,
We know that it is getting warmer out and students are wanting to wear shorts. Please make sure that your child's shorts follows the dress code policy. If your child comes with shorts that are too short they will be asked to call home for new clothing.
DRESS CODE
To aid students and parents in determining acceptable school dress, the following guidelines have been developed.
*Hats, caps, sunglasses, and other forms of headgear are not to be worn in the building, with the exception of designated days.
*Transparent, or otherwise revealing, clothing is not acceptable at school. Examples include low cut shirts, spaghetti straps, halter-tops, or shirts with open sides.
*Shorts or skirts must be at least to the bottom of the thumb in length.
*Pants must be worn at waist level. Pants that sag will not be tolerated. Pajama bottoms are not to be worn, with the exception of designated days.
*Shirts must cover the belly. Tank tops must be two-finger width at the shoulder.
*Bra straps must be covered by the shirt or a jacket.
*Appropriate footwear should be worn at all times.
Students who fail to comply with the dress guidelines will be required to change clothing. Repeated violations of the guidelines will result in disciplinary action.
