Parents, here is a quick reference guide to get started with using Rooms. We are still trying to work out any kinks that we may come across, but want to start using Rooms as soon as possible. Our coaches will be using this as their form of communication with players and parents. If you have any problems or issues while trying to use Rooms, please contact the school and we will do our best to assist you. Please feel free to share this image in an effort to help get this information to parents.
Individual and team basketball sports pictures are being taken this week. Boys on Wednesday and girls on Friday. I've included Christy Stout's order form that has all the information including packages, cost, and ways to pay. These forms will also be available to kids and also in the office at RVMS

Basketball parents, it's not too late for you to get your athlete signed up for away game day lunches with Prater meals. Noon tomorrow (Tuesday) would be the deadline for any last-minute Venmo's, checks or cash. I've attached the Prater meals flyer that can help you through this process. Go Panthers!
Just a reminder in regards to basketball practice on Friday, October 30. RVMS has early dismissal at 12:30 PM that day. Girls will have practice from 12:40 until 2:00 PM. There will be no boys practice. Girls will be practicing at RVMS and an Activity Bus will run.

Congratulations to Chevie Kinast for breaking two cross country school records for girls. 6:40.93 in the 1 Mile and 14:31.28 in the 2 Mile. Chevie is a 7th grader at RVMS.

RVMS volleyball goes 0-2 in pool play this morning at the CKL volleyball tournament and do not advance to bracket play.. RVMS loses to Smoky Valley in two sets, 11-25, and 13-25 in the first match. In the second match, RVMS lost to Hesston in two sets, 11–25 and 20-25. Thank you players and coaches for another good season! Go Panthers!

RVMS basketball practice begins Monday, October 19th. The boys will be at the district complex this coming week and the girls will be at RVMS gym. The school provides transportation to the district complex for practice and USD 309 will continue to provide an Activity Bus after practice. If athletes do not ride the Activity Bus, parents can pick up their student athletes at 5:30 if practicing at RVMS and at 5:40 if practicing at the district complex. More information such as practice schedules, game schedules, team guidelines etc will be available at the basketball parent meeting. Boys parent meeting will be at 5:40 PM at the district office gym and the girls meeting will be at the RVMS gym at 5:30.

RVMS basketball parent meetings are scheduled for Monday, October 19 at 5:30 PM. Girls meeting will be at Reno Valley middle school gym, 1616 Wilshire Dr. and the boys meeting will be at the district complex gym, 4501 W. 4th Ave. This is also the first practice date for our middle school kids. The meetings will take place at the location of the practices that day. Other important information regarding the beginning of basketball season is coming soon.
