Parents, here is a quick reference guide to get started with using Rooms. We are still trying to work out any kinks that we may come across, but want to start using Rooms as soon as possible. Our coaches will be using this as their form of communication with players and parents. If you have any problems or issues while trying to use Rooms, please contact the school and we will do our best to assist you. Please feel free to share this image in an effort to help get this information to parents.

Football parents, if you are still looking for a hassle-free way to feed your kid on away football games, this is an option for you. See Prater Meals attachment for different ways to pay. Balance of $24 must be paid before the first away game.

Smoky Valley Invitational Results – Lindsborg Golf Course
We had a great day on the course at the Smoky Valley Invitational, and I am incredibly proud of how hard our runners competed at the Lindsborg Golf Course. Across both the middle school and high school levels, our athletes showed incredible heart, grit, and determination in heat and high winds!
A huge shoutout goes to 7th grader Chevie Kinast, who took home 1st place in the middle school race with a time of 7:08.47! We also had several top-10 finishes and strong running throughout the day.

Beginning this Friday, 9/4, scheduled Friday sports practices will end early. On Fridays only, Cross-country practice will end at 5 PM at NHS and volleyball and football practice will end at 5:15 at RVMS. Activity bus will continue to run.
Change in 9/3 cross country meet start time in Lindsborg. Out of an abundance of caution, the meet has been moved up to 9 AM. They will combine high school races to save time. The schedule will be seventh grade, eighth grade, high school, girls, high school boys. See attachments for course map and other information that will help parents and fans navigate the day. Football parents, here are a couple changes that affect middle school football practice and Thursday's football game. 1. Thursday's 9/3 game versus Larned kickoff time has been moved back to 7 PM. Football team will be fed and supervised by coaching staff at NHS leading up to game time. 2. Today and tomorrow's football practice (Tues and Wed) will be held indoors at the district office, 4501 W. 4th Ave. Parents can pick their student athlete up at approximately 5:40. Activity bus will also pick up kids at the district office as well. Apologize for any inconveniences.
Eighth grade girls go 1-1 in pool play at the Garden Plaine middle school volleyball tournament, advancing into tournament championship bracket play. That's where the tournament ended as the Lady Panthers go down to Haven in the first round of the championship bracket.










Seventh grade girls go 1-1 in pool play at the Garden Plain volleyball tournament getting them into championship bracket play. Bracket play ended for our Lady Panthers losing to Kingman in the first round of championship play.

Attn: Fall sports parents! Attached are instructions on how to register on Bound from either the bound website or the bound app. Bound is the communication platform that RVMS will be using to communicate with athletes and parents.


Auditions for the USD309 Fall Musical are Monday & Tuesday, August 24–25, from 6–9 p.m. in the NHS Music Room/Auditorium.
Auditions are open to all USD 309 students in grades 4–12. No sign-up is required; students may come anytime during the audition window.
Audition materials are available in Google Classroom via the web address or QR code. Students may also email Mrs. Spears to be added. Students must use their official USD309 email to access the Google Classroom. Paper copies will also be available at auditions.
Students auditioning for an ensemble role should come prepared to sing something. All students will participate in a short choreography audition. Students auditioning for a specific role should be prepared to read and sing the assigned sides and character selection.
